BBC Microbit, Coding, and Science Experiments

This session will demonstrate how to use the BBC’s Microbit controller to create and code science experiments in a middle school science class that relate to state standards. The Microbit comes with a thermometer, accelerator, light sensor, compass, 3 volt source, and bluetooth built in. Projects and experiments will include engineering design, moisture testing, gravity, acceleration, motion, electric current, magnetic forces, temperature monitoring, analog & digital signals, and other ideas.
