“It's a dangerous business, Frodo, going out your door. You step onto the road, and if you don't keep your feet, there's no knowing where you might be swept off to." --J.R.R Tolkien. Are you ready to be swept away on a science adventure? As a science teacher, hundreds of opportunities are available to help you inject enthusiasm and experience back into your lessons. From NASA to the U.S. Forest Service, there are summer and weekend adventures waiting for you. All you need to do is apply! Come hear about some of these opportunities, share your experiences and expertise, and get tips on joining in on the adventure! Debbie Morgan, a 2017 Utah PAEMST award finalist and Hope Street Group/NNSTOY Utah Teacher fellow, has been going on adventures and sharing her passion for science with students for over sixteen years.
